I had a follow up with my doctor- stitches are out and I’m cleared to go back to work (woot!). I decided to jump in with a batch of forks for Phil and Jamie over at Metrofiets. This is a new crown we cooked up for some beefy tapered legs, as well as a change to the drop outs and disc tabs. I ended up taking more time off my feet then planned- I’m all caught up on email, phone calls, ordering, zombie movies and laying down. Charley, shop pup extraordinaire continued his administrative duties, slightly modified to a change in setting. After wrapping up that last big delivery I decided to take a couple of much needed days off. I got caught up on some email, watched a couple of movies and had two ti pins pulled out of my knee. Those little bastards have been hitching a free ride long enough. I am taking the full weekend off (a rarity for me) but I’ll be back in the shop Monday. Have a good weekend kids, and play safe!
Another one for the books: 9 frames (and forks riding shot gun) off to paint. That was 2.25 a week for the month. When people ask how to make days longer the answer is pretty easy- just make nights much, much shorter.
