This bike was designed as an all arounder for a client used to race bikes, but interested in something that could handle both rough city commuting and fast paced back road riding. Combining many of the integrated features of my randonee bikes, the Brise Rosé balances sport feel with everyday versatility.
The frame and fork are built with Winter’s signature bilaminate construction. Both feature internal dynamo wire and hydraulic disc brake routing. The custom luggage system includes a rear carrier, front demi porteur with internal light wiring and mounting, and removable low riders for those longer routes. A Ruthworks porteur bag was made to integrate seamlessly and carry the riders every day essentials. All the lighting, racks and fenders are set up with couplings for easy removal for the unloaded days.
The Brise Rosé rides on Ergott laced 650b carbon disc clinchers laced to a White XMR/ SP hubset and sport Compass extra light tires. Shifting is handled by a Dura Ace kit with RS685 levers and brakes. The Fizik 00 post supports a SMP Forma, and the Fizik bars are wrapped with NFS tape and held by a custom Winter stem with French point detail and integrated Bell mount. The namesake rose paint by Todd Eroh.
