“Volute” refers to an an inward spiral curve or scroll, as often seen in Corinthian capitals. It is also the pattern of the head scroll on many musical instruments within the violin family. The Winter Volute was made for a professional musician and draws influence from its name sake in the subtle curves and arches throughout the build.
The Volute is designed as a quick feeling and stable urban bike. It is intended to balance fun unloaded riding with regular commuting and about-town duties. This build features a fillet brazed frame with a lugged fork, rear pannier carrier and matching nickel plated Winter stem. Internally routed dynamo lighting and a blend of components help keep it a dependable and well rounded package. The ink blue paint is a pearl effect by Todd Eroh.
